Product · QR ordering
A sticker, a browser,
an order.
QR ordering is the part everybody has seen and almost nobody has seen done well. Here is exactly what OrderLah's does, including the parts that are easy to get wrong.
The sticker names the table. Nothing else.
A table QR is printed once and stays on that table for years. It carries the shop's address and a table label, and it deliberately carries nothing about a customer, a device, a browser, a basket or an order. That is what lets it survive four generations of phone and a change of ownership.
Every phone at the table gets its own basket
Four people at one table scan the same sticker. Each of their phones mints its own session in its own browser and keeps its own basket. Nobody inherits somebody else's cart, the last person to tap does not overwrite the first, and no diner is left holding a copy of an order that is already cooking — one tap from paying for it twice.
Close the page halfway through a meal and scan again and your basket comes back — moved, not copied, so there is never a second copy of it in another tab.
No app. No account. No download.
The menu is a web page. The customer taps the sticker's notification and is looking at your dishes about a second later. Nothing to install, nothing to sign into, and nothing about them stored anywhere.
A retry is the same order, not a second one
Phones on shop Wi-Fi drop connections mid-tap constantly. The order carries a key that rides inside the saved basket, so the same basket sent twice is one order, a changed basket is a new one, and two people ordering the same dish at the same table are two orders. The shop's hub keeps that record with the order book, so even a restart mid-retry still recognises it.

The trial is the whole product for 14 days, with no card and nothing to cancel. The demo is the real flow with pretend data — order from a table, watch it hit the kitchen, move it to ready. No sign-up, no email, no salesperson.
The customer side
Another app?
No thanks.
Your customer is hungry, standing up, and holding a phone with 3% battery. They are not downloading anything. They scan the QR code and your menu opens in the browser that is already on the phone.
To be straight about it: OrderLah does have an app — the one you run the stall on, on your own tablet. It's the ordering side that needs nothing installed.

How it works
Five steps, every single order.
This is a lunchtime with OrderLah running — what your customer does, what you hear, and what the kitchen sees. Looking for what you have to do first instead? That is five steps too, and they are here.
-
Step 1
The QR is on the table
One at the counter, one on every table, or both. OrderLah generates them for you — table numbers included, so the kitchen knows where the food goes. Printed once, and then it just sits there working.

Step 2
Customer scans
The phone camera does it. The menu opens in the browser they already have. Nothing to install, no account to create, no password anybody will forget.

Step 3
Customer orders
Items, variants, add-ons, quantity — and dine-in or takeaway when you've turned those on. Extra chicken, no cucumber, less spicy: it all comes through in writing, so nobody mishears it.
-
Step 4
You hear "DING!"
The hub plays the new-order ringtone and the chit appears on the board. It is designed to be hard to miss across a hot, noisy kitchen — because a missed order is a refund and an argument.

Step 5
Cooking → Ready → Done
One tap per stage. The board is the single source of truth for the counter, the kitchen and the display screen at the same moment — no shouting the same order twice.

- Turn on the parts you want — QR only, counter only, or the lot. It is all in the settings.
